Mary A. Boutselis, Ph.D.

Dr. Boutselis received her B.A. in premedical sciences/biology from Kenyon College
in Ohio and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern California.
She completed a pre-doctoral internship in rural and community mental health in Kenai (Alaska) and
a post-doctoral fellowship in geropsychology at the Philadelphia Geriatric Center. Dr. Boutselis was
the Assistant Director of the Psychological Clinic at The Pennsylvania State University from 1988-1996.
She is currently a protocol therapist for an NIMH-funded treatment outcome study of persons with
General Anxiety Disorder. Dr. Boutselis is a member of the consulting psychology staff of The
Meadows Psychiatric Center and has served as a consultant in a number of nursing homes in the
Central Pennsylvania area. She is licensed to practice psychology in Pennsylvania and is a member of
The American Psychological Association, The Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and the Central Pennsylvania Psychological Association. Dr. Boutselis has a private practice at the Child, Adult, &
Family Psychological Center, and she maintains special interest in anxiety and mood disorders, geropsychology, and interpersonal difficulties.
