Lawrence T. Clayton, Ph.D.

Lawrence T. Clayton, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania. He received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.
He is a Certified Addiction Counselor Diplomate in Pennsylvania as well as a National Certification Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Inc. (NRCA/AODA). Dr. Clayton has fulfilled the qualifications for the Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and other Psychoactive
Substance Disorders granted through the American Psychological Association's College of Professional Psychology. He has met current federal Department of Transportation requirements to be classified as
a Substance Abuse Professional evaluator. Dr. Clayton serves on the Pennsylvania Psychological Association�s Committee for Colleague Assistance Program, and provides services for the monitoring programs of a range of other professions, including physicians, attorneys and those licensed through
the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. In terms of professional affiliations,
he is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Association of Drug and
Alcohol Abuse Counselors, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, the American Society of
Clinical Hypnosis and the Central Pennsylvania Psychological Association. Since 1984, Dr. Clayton
has specialized in the evaluation and treatment of drug and alcohol concerns, and has served as a
practitioner, instructor, and expert witness in this area of specialization.
