All about Ms. Hammer
Hello
my name
is Ms.
Hammer. This
is my
first
year
teaching
Elementary
Education.
I am
currently
teaching
computers
at
Girls,
Inc. Last
year I
worked
as a
substitute
teacher
and
tutor of
reading
and
math. I
have a BFA in
Graphic
Design
from
Rochester
Institute
of
Technology
and an
MFA in
Computer
Art
from the
School
of
Visual
Arts.
I am
also
certified
to teach
Early
Childhood
Pre-K
with my
CDA
certification
and I am
currently
working
on
finishing
up my
teaching
credentials
at Manatee Community College.
In the
past I
taught
computers
and
production
at the
college
level.
My

Originally
from New
York
City and
Long
Island,
I have
also
lived
and
worked
in Los
Angeles.
I have
now been
living
and
working
in
Florida
for the
past
four
years
and I
consider
this
home. I
love
teaching,
cycling,
tennis,
and
watching
movies.
I am
looking
forward
to
getting
to know
your
children, teaching
and
bringing
out the
best in
them.

Hammer is

making a career
change to
teaching, she
has worked in
the fields of

entertainment,
special effects,
retail,
manufacturing,
internet and
consulting. She
specializes in
digital
photography,
websites and
graphic design.
She has produced

photographs,
film effects and
video games.

Rough Draft, a
printed
newsletter for
the
Sarasota
Manatee Bicycle
Club and
also produced
the club's
Cycle Fest brochure too.
She enjoys
riding her
bicycle and
taking digital
photographs of
her adventures.
