Vermont: Classic Villages/Southeast Vermont

Day 3 | 31.9 miles | 10/06/04

Grafton > N. Windham > Londonderry > N. Landgrove > Chester

The Landgrove Inn, Landgrove, VT
Our Hosts: Tom and Maureen Checchia

We nearly have a heart attack, at 8:00 am breakfast it's only 38 degrees outside.

Here comes the sun to burn off the fog and warm us up.

Brockway's Mill Gorge.

Nice reflection.

I'm procrastinating and warming up before the hill.

Always stop to say hello to the horses along Pleasant Valley Road.

Wild flowers along Route 121 in Cambridgeport.

The last 1.5 miles along Route 121 is under construction.
While riding with care, and being alert, I stopped to chat with this woman.
Note: there were a lot of women on this construction site.

We get the idea, it's cold here, we luck out with the sunny weather.

Another cool barn on Townshend Road on the way to Plummer's Sugar House.

Plummer's Sugar House.

This is a photograph of a barn for birds within a bigger barn.

Good thing we stopped to take this picture....

...seconds after getting back on the bike, this tree decided to fall over behind us.

The 9 mile dirt road finally ends.
Note: we are on road bikes.

Bonnie and Laura, the hill champs!

Shadow picture.

I just love those reflections.

Another favorite photo.

These photos are great, I want to see more. Take me to Day 4.
Enough of Vermont, take me back to the main photo page.
