9-mile loop from Marina Jack's, north on US 41, East on University, South on US 301, Right on Fruitville, Left on US 41.
After a flat tire on LBK, Mike W. and I race up Cocoanut to catch the progression.
We succeed at the corner of Myrtle and 301.
Approximately, 250 riders came out to support this important historical event. Way to go SRQ cyclists!
There goes Becky (in Blue with Red helmet), Yarnall and Gina (in Red/Black with Red helmet and purple helmet) among others.
Sue and Marc (in Grey, Yellow and Black)
Everyone stopped to watch, including this little girl who later, would try to cross the progression.
The Share the Road message hopefully gets across.
That's Jen D. wearing her red MS 150 jersey.
Jean Vallery enlisted SRQ into the Ride of Silence.
Nancy (from SMBC), Bonnie (YHAMMERit?), Bryan and Tony (from B&J) helped spread the word.
This sheriff was happy to help out, had fun racing to the next intersection and was more than happy to have his photo taken.
Many thanks to everyone who participated in this important event.
Return to the great outdoors.
