Ken takes the train down to meet me in Philadelphia for the day.

Sunny skies above and rain below

Ken and I do the Duck Tour of the Old City.
It was already raining and we were already wet.

A view of the Ben Franklin Bridge from inside the Duck boat.

Betsy Ross, our trusted tour guide.

Municipal Pier N29 North

These old buildings were converted into fancy waterfront apartments.

Philadelphia as seen on a rainy day from the Delaware River.

Penn's Landing.

The war ships that are parked on the New Jersey side of the river.

Another view of the bridge.

Going underneath.

Returning to shore.

Philly has a lot of interesting tile art.

The Ghostbusters building of Philly.

Me in the rain.

The cobblestones that I was walking around on all day. I also walked on bricks and cement too. And yes my legs and back were killing me later on.

I wonder if this is where they make the yummy bread in Philly?

Betsy Ross' house.

We finally make it.

Elfreth's Alley - the first street dedicated to merchants.

The Street.

A refurbished firehouse.

Linner at Nick's roast beef, gravy fries and Yingling beer on tap. YUM!
