Withlacoochee State Trail, Inverness, FL

The Withlacoochee State Trail is a 46 mile long paved, linear state park. A ride to the North End and back is 32 miles and combined with a ride to Istachatta and back is 60 miles. To the end of the trail in both directions will be 92 miles. A fun ride to Floral City and back will be 14 miles. Optional Century offered with 8 mile on road loop.

Ewwww! Too gross to run over, but lying on the middle of the trail, so I took his picture instead.


The Tampa/Naples postal team. These guys made the last 20 miles all the more bearable.

The official end of the trail. Hooray. At this point, only 30 more miles to the finish line.


At last, 100 MILES! My first Florida century completed in 7 hours.
