The Cats

I was in Key West for 4 days and only counted 13 dogs.

This little guy was at our hotel in Marathon.
He followed us home and slept outside our door.

Foot prints in cement seemed to be everywhere.

Gina thought that this was a giant flowered dog - but I think that it's a cat.
What do you think?

This is Gilbert, a female who lived with the Garden House.
She is tuckered out after a morning of photographs with the guests who were checking out.

There are those that say the cats in Key West are descendants from the Hemingway Cats or Mitten Cats.
But the Hemingway Cats have 6 fingered toes. I think the islanders just like cats better than dogs.

These photos are great, I want to see more photos.

Thanks, please take me back to the main page.
