It's been a long while. Has it really been a year?
I did go tandem
kayaking with Mom over Thanksgiving and with Gina in Key West over July
Fourth, but for the group, it's been a rough year.
It was worth the wait though;
we had a beautiful sunset and a star filled sky and a full moon.
Twelve
awesome paddlers enjoyed a yummy dinner at Mar Vista where new friendships were
made.

Mark & Maggie Adler - in the Bike club since last January.
One of my favorite thing about kayaking is that you can get really close -
this guy didn't seem to mind.
Two Wood Storks - Ken's favorite bird.
An Osprey.
Close-up.
I was close, but with a zoom lense it looks like he was right on top of me. He did start talking, though.
I was just in the right place at the right time. Nature did the rest.

A White Heron searches for its dinner. There were lots of crabs in the sea grass.

Don't you love it when a few birds fly into your photo?
Bob from Florida Paddlers. He had a really cool kayak.

I love these guys. The flying V.

Was this a set up?
