Fountain of Youth

The Fountain of Youth, marks the spot where Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon landed in 1513.

On April 3, Ponce de Leon named it La Florida, from "Pascua Florida"; Easter season in Spanish (meaning Feast of Flowers).

We drank from the pre-historic Indian Spring Ponce de Leon hoped was the Fountain of Youth.
It tasted like saline.

Every 15-20 minutes sightseeing trains pass along this street to drop people off at the Fountain of Youth.
