Bike Florida: Red Hills to the Sea

Day 0 - Saturday, March 19, 2005

The trip officially begins after I pick up Sandra at Becky's house. The car is loaded with our baggage, Better Cheddars (best car snack), water, green apples and a full tank of gas. We travel north on I-75, get stuck in lots of traffic, stop for lunch at Subway, talk to Val and Ron and finally exit on to I-10. After passing the Swannee River sing song sign, we finally reach Route 19 N and exit to Monticello.

Upon our arrival and registration, I help Sandra set up her tent and eat dinner with my new friends for the next 7 days. Afterwards, I drive to my hotel; The Days Inn and I sleep.
